Stephen Kingsley's late strike denied Kilmarnock a debut home league win of the season as they drew 1-1 with Hearts at Rugby Park. The result leaves Derek McInnes's side 12th in the Scottish Premiership with five points from their opening seven games.
Jamie McCart's own goal gave the hosts an early lead they held until the 86th minute. Kingsley then lashed home a left-footed drive to secure a point for the visitors, who remain without an away league win since January.
Kilmarnock had lost all three of their previous home fixtures this term. Avoiding a fourth consecutive home defeat, a feat last suffered in August 2017, will offer some consolation.
The point extends Kilmarnock's unbeaten run to two games following their win at Hibernian. Attention now turns to a tough trip to face second-placed Rangers at Ibrox on 10 October. The full schedule leading up to that match is available on our fixtures page.
