Kilmarnock's poor start to the season continues as Celtic thrash them 5-1 in their Premiership opener. The Scottish champions were in a class of their own, with Kasper Høgh scoring a hat-trick in the opening 35 minutes. The Danish internationalist's clinical finishing was a problem for Kilmarnock's defense, who were cut open easily in just the second minute. Høgh's first goal came from a chip floated by Arne Engels down the left flank, with the midfielder ghosting in behind Michael Schjønning-Larsen to head beyond Max Stryjek from a few yards out. The home side recovered pretty well from their awful start and could and really should have drawn level, but they failed to convert their chances. Celtic's dominance was soon evident, and they moved to the top of the league table on goal difference. Here are five talking points from a one-sided encounter.
